Delete your account
At any time, without asking us and without giving a reason.
If you can sign in
Dashboard → Settings → Delete account. One confirmation, and it runs immediately. Nothing reverses it.

Write to [email protected], from the account’s address if you still can. We act within 30 days, in practice within a few working days, and confirm when it is done.
What goes, and what stays
Erased
Your transcripts and the files behind them. The account itself. Every device, API key and session, so anything still signed in stops working. Usage and quota records, account events, bug reports and the diagnostic logs attached to them. A linked WhatsApp number, a newsletter entry, and the mobile app’s free-trial record including its installation identifier.
Kept, de-identified
Accounting records only. German tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB) requires six to ten years of them, which Art. 17(3)(b) GDPR permits. The link to you is removed and the personal details in them erased in the same operation: what is kept is the transaction, not you. Never paid us anything? Then nothing remains.
Dictation audio is on neither list because it is never kept: it is deleted as soon as the transcript exists or the attempt fails, whether you delete your account or not. An active paid plan is cancelled first — and if that step fails, nothing is deleted at all and you are asked to try again. The Privacy Policy covers your other rights: a copy of your data, correction, restriction, objection.
Only want to stop paying? That is a different thing and it keeps everything — you drop to the free tier with your transcripts and devices intact. Use the cancellation form. Deleting the account cancels a running subscription on the way, so you never need to do both.
